Graduate and intern development programs
We offer a wide range of opportunities for college graduates and are committed to their development within our company. The program is open to anyone who has completed an undergraduate or graduate degree and has less than three years professional work experience. We provide selected candidates with technical, on-the-job training, targeted learning and development opportunities, mentoring by an experienced Rio Tinto Kennecott colleague, and networking and learning initiatives.
For students who are still completing their program, we offer temporary work, usually during the summer between their junior and senior year of college.
We provide opportunities across a range of disciplines, including metallurgical, mining, chemical, electrical, and mechanical engineering, industrial hygiene, geology, finance, law, communications and human resources.
